'Leopard print lady' Oil paint on wood

My project is about my dreams, so definitely my brain is one of the most important research sources, as well as looking at several artists such as, Salvador Dali and Odilon Redon. These artists both work from their own dreams so looking at their work has influenced the way I have experimented with colour.

A problem that I have encountered is finding inspiration for new paintings. What you do in the day influences your dreams a lot, and due to the current situation with COVID-19 the activities you can do in the day are limited. To help keep my brain active and good for dreams I have been going on daily walks and taking in the scenarios going on around me.

'Dream tree' Oil paint on A1 wood

'Stone Lady' Oil paint on wood. This represents plastic surgery and trying to sculpt how we look.

While I develop my work I remember different parts of my dreams, which I then need to add in. The development for this project is always changing.
