Youth in Portraiture - A Blissful Youth. Photography
I attempted to capture the ethos of youth, particularly the London inner city youth as that is what I am familiar with. My subject, Bliss Kelly, is the perfect embodiment of what I wanted to represent. Hackney born and bred, with a mixed cultural background, she has a class and beauty that merges perfectly with the ‘London Look’.

I styled the original first shoot using old jewellery of my great grandmothers, playing on the idea of mixing old with new. The setting of the shoot was a 5 minute walk from my house, right on the Thames embankment by Vauxhall Bridge and MI6. I also shot a few looks in my patio at home. Carrying on from this project, I decided to choose my 2 favourite images and drew/painted them in different mediums.
